XP tracks your progress and daily consistency across PingMyNetwork. Here is how it works.
How to earn XP
You get +10 XP for every correctly validated action:
Lesson Tasks: Answer a question inside a lesson (+10 XP).
CLI Tasks: Complete a network configuration step or lab scenario (+10 XP).
Flashcards: Review and validate a daily flashcard (+10 XP).
Practice Exams: Earn XP based on your score percentage (e.g., getting 87% on an exam awards 87 XP).
Rules & Limits
Show Answer: Clicking "Show Answer" skips validation and awards 0 XP.
No Repeat Farming: You only earn XP the first time you complete a task or question. Clearing and redoing a lesson does not grant additional XP.
Where to check your XP
You can track your XP in three places across the platform:
Dashboard: Displayed directly next to your profile card alongside your streak.
Public Profile: Found under your main stats card.
Ranking Tab: Visible on both the Monthly and All-Time leaderboards.
Leaderboards
Monthly: Resets at 23:59 UTC on the last day of each month.
All-Time: Your total accumulated XP since joining.
