Streaks Explained

Learn how streaks work, how to maintain them, and how to track your progress.

Written by Elwin BERRAR

A streak tracks the number of consecutive days you practice on PingMyNetwork. Building a daily learning habit is the fastest way to master networking and pass your exams.

How to maintain your streak

Your streak increases by 1 day every time you complete a daily activity before midnight (00:00 UTC):

  • Daily Tasks: Finish an entire lesson, complete a lab, or finish a full flashcard review session.

  • Frequency: Practice at least once every 24 hours to keep your momentum going.

Where to check your streak

You can track your current and longest streak in three places:

  • Top Navigation Bar: Click the flame icon at the top right to open your monthly streak calendar.

  • Dashboard Card: View your current streak counter directly next to your XP.

  • Profile Badges: Unlock dedicated streak badges on your profile as you hit daily milestones.

What happens if you lose your streak?

If you miss a day, your streak counter resets to 0.

If your streak disappeared due to a bug or unexpected technical issue, reach out through the in-app chat or email us at [email protected] with your username and previous streak count.
