How to Book Your Cisco Exam

Learn when to book your CCNA or CCNP exam and how to schedule it with Pearson VUE.

Cisco exams are delivered by Pearson VUE. You can take them at a test center or online from home.

1. When to book

  • Finish your path: Complete all the lessons and labs of your path.

  • Use the Exam Simulator: Practice in real exam conditions until you score well consistently. Then book your exam.

2. Create your Cisco account

  • Cisco account: Create one on cisco.com if you don't have one yet.

  • Profile: Your name must match your government-issued photo ID exactly.

3. Schedule the exam

  • Where: Sign in on Pearson VUE's Cisco page and pick your exam (200-301, 350-401 or 300-410).

  • Test center: Choose a nearby Pearson VUE center, a date and a time.

  • Online (OnVUE): Choose the home or office option. Run the system test in advance, from the room you will test in.

4. Price

  • On cisco.com: CCNA $300, ENCOR $400, ENARSI $300 (USD). Local prices and taxes can vary, so check the current price before booking.

5. On exam day

  • Test center: Arrive early with your government-issued photo ID.

  • Online: Check-in opens 30 minutes before your start time. Closed door, clear desk, no notes and no extra monitors.
